Collection: Pistis
Pistis (in Anchient Greek Πίστις) referred to a sincere intention to be fair, open, and honest. In later times the word has been extended to mean faith, trust and reliability.
In Rome in 137 AD there lived three sisters named after three virtues, Pistis Elpis and Agape. Pistis was the eldest. She, her sisters, and their mother were captured in order for them to denounce their Christian faith. When none of them complied, they were tortured and killed. Pistis and her sisters are celebrated as martyrs in the Eastern Orthodox Catholic Church even to this day.
The pistis set is made with said sincere intention. The lace is soft and delicate, and the garments are decorated with Jade chrystals to give you energies to stay true to yourself and to others.
