Garment Care

To make your lingerie last and keep their shine for as long as possible, it is important to give them proper care and love. Caring for your items is a sustainable choice.

Keep in mind that bras don't usually need to be washed after every use. Sometimes a good airing is sufficient care and keeps your lingerie in shape, while sparing the environment.

We recommend hand washing all items. Wash with similar colors. If you do need to put them in the washing machine, use a washing bag, mild detergent and low temperatures (30°C). We recommend using e.g. a GuppyFriend washing bag to reduce microplastics in nature.

Avoid synthetic fabric softener, since it ruins the elastane in your items. White vinegar based products work wonders in garment care.

Hang dry or dry your intimates flat. Avoid wringing, tumble drying and drying in direct sunlight. Do not bleach or dry clean your Tekelepekele lingerie. 

Most of the Tekelepekele intimates do not need ironing. If you still feel the need to do so, iron on a cool setting from the inside of the garment and keep a towel or cloth in between.

Storing your lingerie neatly and separately helps them last longer.
